Task
Our task for the Discountebike.nl project was to design an e-commerce website that would effectively showcase the company’s discounted electric bikes and scooters to their target market in the Netherlands.
The website needed to be intuitive, user-friendly, and responsive, with an emphasis on clear and easy-to-understand product information. We also needed to ensure that the website would provide a seamless online purchasing experience, with a secure payment gateway and easy checkout process.
Solution
The website was designed for the Dutch market, offering ebikes and escooters at a discounted price. The website was built using Woocommerce, with a promo video as a full-width header to grab the attention of visitors. It features icons with general information about the product they are currently selling and its features, allowing visitors to quickly understand what the website offers.
The highlighted product has its own product page with even more information, making it easy for customers to make a purchase. The website’s main color was green, which conveyes a sense of environmental friendliness, and the font used was Montserrat, which is easy to read and modern.
The call to action for the website was “Ready to be electric?”, encouraging visitors to switch to electric transportation. Overall, the website was designed to be informative, user-friendly, and visually appealing, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to buy an ebike or escooter in the Dutch market.
